General Travel Grants - Korner Fund
Funding of up to £2,000 is available to support student and early career members working within the UK or Republic of Ireland to make collaborative visits to overseas laboratories.
The University of Sussex have generously donated their Korner Travelling Fellowship Fund to join our grants portfolio. This fund was originally set up to commemorate the life and work of Professor Asher Korner (1929-1971), the first Professor of Biochemistry in the University of Sussex. The remaining funds will now be offered as an extension to our General Travel Grant scheme.
This scheme is now open to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Early Career members who are working within the UK or Republic of Ireland to make collaborative visits to overseas laboratories. Funding of up to £2,000 will be available to contribute towards travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs.
