The Biochemical Society provides sponsorship of up to £500 to assist with the independent organisation of scientific meetings and training events.

Applications are considered three times a year for scientific meetings and training events. Early applications are encouraged to allow for the review process to take place ahead of the start of the event (minimum six months for scientific meetings).

Please note funding cannot be used to cover catering or venue costs; it must be used to support the science. Consideration will also be given to support of virtual meetings. Events will need to abide by our policy for a balanced and diverse programme of speakers/trainers.

Support for sponsored events is limited so please note the Biochemical Society cannot support commercial events, Gordon Research Conferences, Seminars or other events which already receive significant funding.
