60 minutes
As a molecular bioscientist, there are a large range of careers available to you after your studies in a variety of fields where you can use your specialist skills and knowledge. Following our previous webinar on general ‘industry careers’, at this session we explore more specific career options in non-pharmaceutical industry areas for molecular bioscientists.
Our panel comprises representatives working in different non-pharmaceutical industry sectors, in a varied roles and with different career paths and experiences, who have entered the sector through various routes. Panellists include:
- Dr Rowan Moore (Senior Director, Field Marketing, Europe at Waters)
- Dr Philipp Gut (Head of Cell Biology department at Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences)
- Dr Grace Loxley, PhD (Proteomics Mass Spectrometry Scientist at Syngenta Ltd)
At this session our invited panellists provide a brief introduction about their career path and current roles, followed by an extended Q&A with questions from the audience.
The webinar was chaired by Dr Andrew Goddard, R&D manager at Freeland Horticulture, and member of the Biochemical Society's Industry Advisory Panel.
